Our Mission
LN Consultancy mission is to strengthen safeguarding practice, support fair and independent complaints processes and to develop confident, dynamic transformational leadership within organisations.
LN consultancy promotes integrity, values led practice and continuous improvement across safeguarding, welfare and leadership environments to provide independent oversight, safeguarding consultation, participant welfare support, complaint investigations and trauma informed professional challenge that support ethical practice, accountability and positive organisational change.
As an Independent Investigating Officer and Independent Person, I bring impartiality, insight, and over two decades of frontline and senior management experience to ensure every review or investigation promotes accountability, fairness, and learning for individuals, teams and organisations.
In addition, I am committed to supporting leadership and professional development, helping organisations and practitioners build confidence, emotional intelligence and resilience to sustain high quality practice and positive outcomes for the children and families they work with.
About Me
My experience spans through safeguarding, quality assurance, leadership and service improvement across children and their families, vulnerable adults, professionals working with children, participant welfare and complex safeguarding environments.
I have held Service Manager roles within Quality Assurance and the Reviewing Services, LADO, Child Protection Chairing and Independent Reviewing. I have also managed multi agency teams and worked extensively in areas such as inspection readiness and SEND. These roles have given me a deep understanding of systems, leadership, risk management and professional accountability, alongside a strong commitment to integrity, values led practice and trauma informed leadership.
Through LN Consultancy, I provide independent safeguarding consultancy, participant welfare support, complaints investigations, professional oversight and leadership development for organisations seeking ethical, trauma informed and values led practice. My approach combines transparency, emotional intelligence, empathy and professional curiosity to support safeguarding accountability, emotional wellbeing and sustainable organisational improvement.
LN Consultancy works collaboratively with organisations to strengthen safeguarding culture, reflective leadership, participant wellbeing and ethical decision making within complex and emotionally demanding environments.
Alongside this, I offer leadership and professional development coaching and training work shops to help practitioners and managers strengthen confidence, decision making and emotional intelligence. I am passionate about helping professionals lead with purpose, reflect openly and build resilience within complex environments.
I work with local authorities, schools and private companies and organisations across the UK, offering practical, evidence based support that promotes trust, accountability and continuous improvement.
At the heart of my work is a genuine belief that every child and adult deserves to feel safe and protected. I am driven by a commitment to fairness and to creating systems that enable professionals to do their best work with confidence and compassion. My goal is always to bring clarity, balance and integrity to every situation, supporting organisations to learn, improve and deliver the highest standards of safeguarding practice.

I provide independent quality assurance audits and thematic reviews for example domestic homicide and individual management reviews that evaluate practice such decision-making, and management oversight. Each audit and reviews that I undertake identifies strengths, areas for development, and practical recommendations to support Ofsted readiness and continuous improvement. My reports are analytical, solution-focused, and designed to inform positive change at both practitioner and strategic levels.
Providing Support to Organisations with Managing Allegations Against Staff and Volunteers/People in
With extensive experience as a Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO), I offer independent investigation and advisory support in cases involving allegations against professionals working with children. My role ensures adherence to statutory guidance, proportionate responses, and robust outcomes that safeguard children while supporting fair process for staff and organisations.
Coaching and improvement consultancy
Alongside investigations and reviews, I offer coaching and improvement consultancy to help teams and leaders strengthen professional confidence, reflective practice, and organisational culture. Through bespoke workshops, supervision, and one-to-one guidance, I support professionals to build resilience, improve practice, and sustain high-quality safeguarding standards.
Media Safeguarding & Participant Welfare Consultancy
LN Consultancy provides specialist safeguarding, participant welfare and trauma informed consultancy for media, television and emotionally sensitive production environments.
Drawing upon extensive experience working with children, adults and families within complex safeguarding settings, I support organisations to strengthen participant wellbeing, safeguarding accountability and ethical, values led practice.

Stage 2 Complaints
As an Independent Investigating Officer, I conduct thorough, fair, and timely investigations into statutory complaints under the Children Act 1989. My approach ensures that every complaint is handled with sensitivity, transparency, and professionalism. Reports are written to a high analytical standard, offering balanced findings, clear recommendations, and a focus on learning and service improvement.
In the role of Independent Person, I provide impartial oversight throughout the statutory complaints process, ensuring fairness and accountability are upheld. I work alongside investigating officers to bring objectivity and public confidence to each review, ensuring that the process reflects the voice of the child, the family, and the principles of natural justice
Leadership and Professional Development
I offer tailored coaching and professional development work shops for leaders and managers within children’s services, private companies and organisations. This includes reflective supervision, leadership in safeguarding practice, and building confidence in managing complex situations and professional challenge. The focus is on strengthening decision-making, emotional intelligence and resilience, empowering professionals to lead with confidence, fairness and integrity.
